Although during the course of my life I had purchased and sold several homes with various real estate brokers and agents, I was never left with the feeling that those agents or brokers were really concerned with my interests but only with making a sale. So when in June of 2009, I was looking to downsize and purchase another home, I asked several friends for the name of a Real Estate Agent that they felt was open, straightforward and looked out for their (my friends’ interests). The most emphatic and positive response I received directed me to Tuan Tran of Keller Williams Referred Urban Realty, Brokerage. We now have an empty nest and the time has come to downsize again. Naturally the first person for this job that came to my mind was Tuan. Again, he could have listed our home on MLS 3 or 4 weeks earlier but he felt it in our best interest to wait until we had the home best prepared according to a specialist that he sent in at his own expense. Once it came out on MLS, we had some 53 showings, 3 open houses and 7 offers within 5 or 6 days. We sold our home for some $50,000 to $60,000 more than we thought we could get. As if that was not enough service for our interests first, knowing our situation, Tuan actually recommended that we not purchase a new home right away, but rather rent for a year and see how we do with retirement and our new lower income levels. I can’t think of anyone else who would give that kind of unselfish concern, advice and service. So if anyone who is buying or selling asks me who I know, the only name that would immediately come up is Tuan Tran. Thank you Tuan, for being much, much more than just another real estate agent.
